The town of Elciego is located to the south of Rioja Alavesa, the most southern region of the province of Álava.
This area is defined by two significant geographical coincidences, to the north, separating Rioja Alavesa from the rest of Álava, you can find the Sierra Cantabria which protects it from the humidity, cold and rain of the north, and to the south, acting as a natural border with the Autonomous Region of La Rioja, the river Ebro which causes a warmer climate to come in from the Mediterranean throughout the whole valley.

From Bilbao: Motorway towards Logroño, exit 10. Link up with the Logroño road 200m along, turn left entering Cenicero 200m further on, and right towards Elciego arriving in 3km.
From Zaragoza: Go through Logroño towards Bilbao: Exit 10. Link up with the Logroño road 200m along, turn left entering Cenicero 200m further on, and right towards Elciego arriving in 3km.
